05 FAQ

Compliance questions.

Why is 12A and 80G approval “provisional”?

The Income Tax Department now grants provisional registration to newly registered trusts for three assessment years, after which final registration is applied for. Our provisional approvals run from AY 2026–27 to AY 2028–29, and the final application will be made within the statutory window.

Does the CSR registration replace 12A or 80G?

No. They serve different purposes: CSR registration with the MCA establishes eligibility to receive CSR funds, while 12A and 80G relate to income-tax exemption for the trust and for donors. All three are held.

Can we see audited financial statements before committing?

Yes. Audited statements for the last three years are part of the due-diligence pack, shared on request and under NDA where required.

How do we report your programmes in our CSR-2 filing?

We provide the registration number, project details, expenditure and implementing-agency information in the format your reporting team needs, along with the project report for the year.
